What is PNND Japan?

PNND Japan was founded in March 2001. Japan's participation in PNND is hoped to convince other nations to commit to the reduction and eventual elimination of nuclear arms. Given the importance of this aim, participating Japanese lawmakers of PNND Japan come from many different political parties from both houses of the Japanese Parliament. The broad range of political parties represented is hoped to contribute to a healthy national debate in Japan about the importance of nuclear disarmament.
